several artworks have recently circulated on the secondary market that have been marketed as “early works by Mohammed Sami”. These include works whose attribution is disputed, as well as works created by other artists with similar names. Some of these works have been claimed to have been purchased directly from the artist’s studio, received as gifts, or found. Mohammed Sami, does not support the attribution of these works to him.

If artworks are claimed to have been purchased directly from the artist’s studio, they should be verified through the artist’s official channels and authorised representatives. In addition, artworks sold through his current representative galleries and duly registered in his official archive are considered authentic and authorised by the artist.

Collectors, institutions, and market participants are strongly advised to verify provenance through these official channels before acquiring works attributed to Mohammed Sami.

Digital documents described as “certificates of authenticity,” including the disputed examples below, do not conform to the artist's authentication practice. They should not be treated as proof of provenance, sale, ownership, or authentication unless confirmed in writing by Mohammed Sami or his authorised representatives.
